REFLECTION

As this is my first time doing professional shooting, I found it really fun because I get to know what is actually behind the scene of a movie. Being on set and seeing all the equipment, crew, and the process of bringing a scene to life was a fascinating experience. It gave me a newfound appreciation for the amount of work and coordination that goes into even a short film or commercial.Beyond just the shooting itself, I also enjoyed the other post-production tasks we tackled, such as syncing audio and color correction. These technical elements were entirely new to me, but I found the process of learning them to be engaging and rewarding. With the audio syncing, it was interesting to see how we had to carefully align the recorded dialogue and sound effects to match the visuals. It required a keen eye for detail and a good sense of timing. Getting that sync just right really brought the scene to life in a more immersive way. As for the color correction, I loved experimenting with the different tools and techniques to enhance the visual aesthetic. Being able to try out various color grades, from subtle adjustments to more stylized looks, gave me a better understanding of how color can shape the mood and tone of a piece. It was satisfying to see how a few strategic color tweaks could dramatically transform the feel of the footage.
