Final Project

INSTRUCTIONS

Based on FLIP group topic research, produce a basic video animation.

DESCRIPTION:
Using a processed design framework, you will now produce an infographic report to present the given information to a ‘target audience’ with the purpose of:
1. Creating awareness (such as Global Warming, Recycle, etc.)
2. Explaining a process (such as "how to" video)
3. Defining a concept (such as "What is Fast Fashion", "What is Color Wheel", etc.)
Any time based media and software using photography, vector imagery.

Design Considerations:
● Organization Principles – LATCH and Content Organization
● Aesthetic Principles – Animation principles
● Cognitive Principles – Principles of visualization

Output Expectation:
The presentation must be deliberated on, consider each assessment rubric of sorts to your final outcome:
● Show causality
● Multivariate graphics and visuals
● Integrate word number and images
● Content count
● Within eyesight
● Use multiple charts
● Do not de-quantify

On week 1 tutorial, me and my group discuss on which topic we should make for this project. We came out with a few topics, but after discussing with Mr.Shamsul, we decided to take this topic which is Stereotype Against Gen Z. We choose this topic because all of us are Gen Z and we think this topic is very interesting. Then, we continue to do our proposal to be presented on the FLIP Classroom on week 2.

Proposal

After doing proposal, our group continue meeting to split our task. We also decided on which title should we use. Here is the miro board :

Then, we also find references.

After that, we continue doing our research.

Then, Jxin and I continue to do the script.

After creating the script, my teammate who are in charge of doing the storyboard did the storyboard. Here is the storyboard:

Continuing to the Animating team to do the animation. Click here to view the result. Then, the Editing team to add background music and finished off the infographic video.

FEEDBACK

FLIP Presentation :
- Target audience need to be more specific, choose either one or two.
- All of the target audience put is ok because it puts down a POV; tweak it so the video is like a "Survival Guide for Gen Z in Workplaces"
- Target Audience should probably be for Gen Z

Infographic Video :
- Storyboard is already okay, can continue on doing the animation.

REFLECTION

Through this task, I have learned a lot, especially as a member of the scriptwriting and research team. I gained a deeper understanding of how to structure a script, what essential elements to include, and what to leave out. Additionally, this experience helped strengthen my bond with my groupmates, as teamwork and communication were crucial. I also realized the importance of time management since completing one phase, such as research and scriptwriting, was necessary before moving on to the next, like storyboarding. Overall, this task not only improved my technical skills but also enhanced my collaboration and organizational abilities.
