Packaging & Merchandising Design - Project 2
14.05.2024
This is a collaboration project between the Design School and School of
Biosciences. Students from TBS and SLAS has developed food in their previous
semester and in need of packaging design for their product.
Tasks:
Research and analysis: Students must conduct research and analyze the product and its target market. This will help them understand the target audience, and the product USP.
Through this project, I didn’t just improve my communication skills—I also learned how to effectively manage teamwork within a bigger group setting. It taught me the importance of listening, sharing responsibilities, and adapting to different working styles.
As for our process, we each created initial sketches, and once TBS selected their preferred concept, we divided the remaining tasks based on that chosen design. This allowed everyone to contribute meaningfully to the final outcome.
Overall, I’m really happy with how this project turned out. It was a rewarding experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

After they presented, we are to choose which products we are going to help,
and also choosing our groupmates. Each group consists of 4 people. I team up
with Carmen, Rafa and Johanna for this project and we choose the Thermobrew

REFLECTION
Working on this project was quite challenging for me, mainly because it involved collaborating with a large group of people from diverse backgrounds. However, I’m grateful that all of my groupmates were cooperative, supportive, and enjoyable to work with, which made the experience much smoother and more enjoyable.Through this project, I didn’t just improve my communication skills—I also learned how to effectively manage teamwork within a bigger group setting.
