REFLECTION

Experience
Throughout this 14 weeks of learning video and sound production, I do feel very excited every time I make the project, during every project, I feel that there are lots of different things to experience, starting from how to edit a video using premiere pro, shooting exercise where we got to really shoot using a professional camera and equipment, followed by the stop motion exercise which seem so easy but actually its a very stressful one due to the placement of the equipment as long as the camera may not move a lot.

Observation
Throughout the course, several key observations stood out. Each project contributed significantly to building my technical skills, from learning the basics of video editing to mastering more complex techniques. I observed a steady improvement in my abilities over time. Working on group projects highlighted the importance of effective communication and teamwork, as each team member's role was crucial in ensuring the project's success. The stop motion exercise emphasized the importance of precision and patience, where even minor adjustments could significantly impact the final output. Additionally, the challenges encountered during filming and editing required innovative solutions, fostering a creative approach to problem-solving.

Findings
Based on my observations, several key findings emerged from the 14-week course. Continuous practice with professional tools and software has greatly enhanced my technical proficiency in video and sound production. Thorough planning and preparation in the pre-production phase are crucial for smooth execution during filming and editing. Effective collaboration and clear communication within the team lead to more efficient workflows and higher-quality projects. The stop motion exercise reinforced that patience and precision are essential in achieving desired results, highlighting the meticulous nature of video production. Finally, flexibility and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges are critical skills in the dynamic field of video and sound production.
